Formal Mission

The North American Konkani Youth Association (NAKYA) strives to preserve, promote and advance Konkani culture among the youth of the Konkani community. This youth-led organization provides the opportunity for Konkani youth to come together and grow as a community while developing a personal connection to the Konkani heritage. NAKYA will facilitate and maintain a forum for young adults to link with others who share a common interest in maintaining and extending their Konkani roots.

Formal Vision

To be the organization that fosters Konkani heritage and its evolving traditions among all Konkani youth in North America, and . To prepare the youth as future leaders of the North American Konkani Association (NAKA).
